How do I book an appointment?

Call us at (610) 896-3888, we'll match you with the right stylist and find a time that works. Open Mon–Sat, 9:00am–6:30pm.

Do I need an appointment, or do you take walk-ins?

We recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time. Walk-ins are welcome but availability may be limited.

How far in advance should I book balayage or keratin?

These are longer appointments (2–4+hours). Booking a week ahead is safest, especially for Saturdays.

How long does a balayage appointment take?

Plan for 2.5–4 hours depending on your hair length, density, and desired result. We'll confirm timing when you book.

Can I bring my child to my appointment?

Children under 12 are welcome when accompanied by an adult who isn't receiving a service. This keeps the salon calm and safe for all clients.

Do prices vary by stylist?

Some services may vary slightly depending on the stylist's experience level. We'll always confirm your exact price during consultation before we begin.

Do you charge extra for long or thick hair?

Some services (especially color and keratin) are priced by hair length and density. Your stylist will confirm the exact price during your consultation before starting.

How do I know which service to book for the look I want?

Describe your goal when you call (610) 896-3888 or book an in-person consultation. We'll recommend the right service, from partial vs. full highlights to keratin vs. Japanese straightening.

Do you offer consultations before I commit to a service?

Yes, especially recommended for corrective color, big transformations, and first-time curly cuts. In-person consultations are $15. See our Services page for details.

Can you do balayage on dark or previously colored hair?

In most cases, yes! But previously colored or very dark hair may need extra sessions to lift safely. Book a consultation and we'll assess your hair and plan the healthiest path to your goal.

Do you offer grey blending for men?

Yes, subtle, natural-looking grey blending and men's color services are available. Call us to discuss the right approach for your hair.

What is Pintura highlighting?

Pintura is a highlighting technique designed specifically for curly hair. Color is hand-painted onto curls in their natural dry state, so placement flatters your curl pattern instead of fighting it.

Can I bring inspiration photos to my appointment?

Please do, we love them. Photos help us understand exactly the color, length, and vibe you're going for, especially for balayage and big transformations.

Do you specialize in curly hair?

Yes, curly hair is our signature specialty. We dry-cut curl by curl in its natural state, and offer Pintura highlighting designed specifically for curls.

Do you work with all curl types?

Yes, from loose waves to tight coils. Our curl-by-curl dry cutting technique is customized to your specific curl pattern and texture.

Do you have stylists who specialize in curly hair?

Yes — Jim, our salon manager, is a certified curl specialist with years of experience across curl patterns and textures.

Who is the best curly hair stylist near Philadelphia?

We'll let our clients answer that. They travel from across the Philadelphia area to see Jim, our certified curl specialist and salon manager, for his dry curl-by-curl cutting that works with your natural texture, not against it. And great curl care doesn't stop at one chair: every stylist on our team is trained in working with natural texture.

Keratin & Japanese Straightening

What's the difference between keratin treatment and Japanese straightening?

Keratin smooths frizz and loosens curl pattern while keeping natural movement (lasts months). Japanese straightening permanently restructures hair pin-straight until new growth comes in. Book a consultation and we'll recommend what's right for your hair.

How long does a Lasio keratin treatment last?

Typically 3–5 months with proper aftercare: sulfate-free shampoo and minimal heat styling. The better you maintain it, the longer it lasts.

How should I care for my hair after a Lasio keratin treatment?

For the first 48–72 hours: don't wash or wet your hair, don't tie it up or clip it, and avoid tucking it behind your ears. Skip swimming pools, salt water, and saunas for the first week.

What products should I use after a keratin treatment?

Use sulfate-free and sodium-chloride-free shampoo and conditioner. Regular shampoos strip the keratin out faster. Deep condition regularly to keep hair glossy and smooth.

Should I color before or after a keratin treatment?

Coloring before keratin is ideal. If coloring after, wait at least 2 weeks so the keratin can fully set.

How should I care for my hair after Japanese straightening?

For the first 48–72 hours: don't wash or wet your hair, don't tie it up, clip it, or tuck it behind your ears, keep it straight down. Avoid swimming pools and saunas for the first week.

What products should I use after Japanese straightening?

Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, deep condition regularly, and always apply heat protectant before using hot tools.

How long does Japanese straightening last?

The treated hair stays straight permanently. Only your new growth comes in with its natural texture. Most clients book touch-ups every 6–12 months.

Can I color my hair after Japanese straightening?

Wait at least 2 weeks before coloring, and always tell your colorist you've had thermal reconditioning so they can adjust the formula for your hair.

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. No-shows will charge a fee.

Do you offer refunds?

We don't offer refunds for services, but if you're not satisfied, call us within 1 weeks of your appointment and we'll make small tweaks and adjustments to get it right.
